Stacker crane’s “young brother”, miniloader shares the same basic characteristics but in this case the UDCs to be moved are small size and light necks (boxes, cassette, case, …).
It is usually used alongside picking systems when the number of codes and order lines that has to be treated doesn’t allow a semi-automatic picking with operator.

Given the high performance (typically 5m/s in horizontal translation and 2m/s in vertical translation), miniloaders are suitable systems when high dynamic performances are required during picking, storing operations coupled with sorting, reorganizing order/batch necks picking.

UDC’s picking members can be multiply (forks, belts or telescopic pate) depending on the type of UDC and on the product that has to be handled.
