Labeller: Machines capable of positioning one or more label in specific positions around the product (front, side, back, corner, …); labels are pre-printed. These are solutions which are mainly applied in primary packaging because when the product is being handled, high productions are required and graphic labels has to be put on the product.

“Print and apply” devices: In this case the machine includes itself a printer and a mechanical, pneumatic or motorized device which makes possible the application of the label while the product is firm or moving. The printer is programmable, it’s equipped with a suite for the creation of a personalized label and can be controlled remotely by machine system (via PLC) or informatics systems (WMS, MES, ERP, …). This type of device is mainly used for cases/pallets and medium-low productions in which it is required to insert dynamically certain data in the line.

Markers: There are two types, inkjet or lase; they are used when high level production are required with changing data in the production line. This solution is also used to minimize the cost/volume of consumables (labels and their supports). They are applicable on cases/articles with specific types of material.
